Bishopthorpe Tennis Club offer a wide range of coaching, match and other opportunities for those juniors
wishing to improve their game, or for those just starting out.

The use of the courts is FREE at any time - if there are no adult matches, or other activities, in progress.

Sunday coaching

The club organises FREE junior coaching sessions every Sunday 4-7pm from 7th April (the cost is included within the junior members fees). These sessions allow an element of coaching, rallying or matchplay as numbers allow.  There is no cap on the number of members who can attend – they are open to all. Our club coaching is delivered by Down the Line Sports, and proved very successful and popular last season.

4-5pm   Ages 5-8
5-6pm   Ages 8-10
6-7pm   Age 11+

The annual cost of junior membership is £45 (if paid before 6th April), and £50 thereafter.

A family membership is £130/£170 (if paid before 6th April), and £135/£175 thereafter.

Junior club sessions from 4.30pm. There is no adult supervision or coaching – just turn up and play.

The club has junior teams, what they are depends on the junior membership at the time. David Moore organises the team.

We are also hoping to run additional junior coaching via a summer tennis camp - watch this space
for further details!

The results are:
